Telephone Sales Executive

The Role

Working within a small team of outbound Sale People, you will be calling companies to generate potential sales leads for the External Sales Team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating your own leads via client research and cold calling to B2B customers.
• Setting appointments for the Sales Team.
• Inviting clients in for free seminars.
• Utilising effective questioning techniques during outbound calls.
• Quotation preparation and selling products / services

The Person

You will have strong experience in a telemarketing or telesales role, with a proven track record of success. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to identify customer needs and provide a cost effective solution that retains customer loyalty and continued support.

You will be an enthusiastic individual, able to work on our own initiative and within a dynamic team. You will have strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills, with the ambition to develop and improve your current skills. In addition, you will be numerate, IT literate, with the resolve to win new business using superior negotiation and influencing skills. You must be eligible to work in the UK.

As this is a rural location, access to your own transport would be beneficial.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be the pivotal regular point of contact for Sales Support queries.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Handling of Sales Support queries, or escalation to ensure resolution
* Development and Management of your own portfolio of smaller service account customers
* Development and Management of new business opportunities
* Preparation of Sales and Purchasing quotations
* Preparation of Support documentation and liaison with customers in relation to these
* Assist with external client visits as required
* Technical pre sale support in conjunction with the Sales Team
The Person

You will have:

* A technical & sales background (preferably in the IT Support sector)
* A good working knowledge of network systems and associated hardware
* An Enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work off own initiative
* Strong communication, interpersonal & time management skills
* Ambition to develop and improve current skills
* Numeracy skills & will be IT literate

You must be eligible to work in the UK.

As this is a rural location, access to your own transport would be beneficial, though a pool car will be provided for any external client visits.

St Gemma’s provides specialist medical and nursing care for people with life threatening illnesses, predominantly cancer, along with support for their families. It is a hospice very close to the hearts of Blue Logic staff, friends and family and is a much deserved charity especially at this time.

2011 has been a hugely successful year for us here at Blue Logic as we have increased our turnover by nearly 25% to £2.7 million and we are forecasting a 30% increase in turnover for next year, following acquisitions and new client wins.

The success comes as we celebrate our 5^th birthday at the end of December. In last 12 months we have appointed 9 new starters across the divisions and have moved into larger premises at Bramley Grange in Thorner, Leeds to cater for the rapidly expanding team.

Blue Logic was created in 2007 by Dave Helm who began the company with just his lap top and mobile phone. Director Chris Ambler soon joined and now the company has grown to 34 including sales staff, network support, technical engineers, online and web development staff.

We predict further growth in the first half of 2012 and Dave is confident Blue Logic will continue to expand and further its offerings. He said: “We’ve had a fantastic year and we’re all very proud to be continuing to grow when the economic climate is so unstable. We’re not taking anything for granted, but we’re confident 2012 will see a further increase in turnover by potentially as much as 30%.

“The team have all worked so hard and our success is down to such a tight, combined effort, we’re treating them to a joint Christmas and birthday celebration party to thank them for their continued dedication to making Blue Logic a leading IT service of excellence in Leeds and across Yorkshire.

“We recently led a presentation for staff to show them exactly how the company has progressed over the last year and our aspirations for the next 12 months. We celebrated all areas of growth such as customer service, innovations, sales and leading web products.”

To support the new account wins and acquisitions predicted for the first half of 2012 we hope to expand the team further with new appointments in sales, web development, and several technical positions in the first half of 2012 taking the team to over 40.
